There was some talk last season that the “Barcelona of the lower leagues” chant is disrespectful, tempts fate and should be shot, or something.
Personally, that’s bollocks and if anything the chant is even more appropriate now we’re alongside minnow chancers like Charlton and Southampton.
Long may it prosper, especially now we’ve lost our best chant about Nathan Elder.
