The hobo is still winning, and now only Southampton, Oldham, Norwich (again) and Charlton stand in his way of a free lunch.
Having said that we’d gladly buy 10 hobos lunch if it would guarantee we played like that second half every week.

With one of most convoluted structures for the first round Beesy has ever seen (16 byes and a regionalised draw anyone?) the campaign for Painted Van Trophy glory kicked off this morning in earnest with balls being drawn out of a hat/ bowl/ weird ball jumbling machine (OK we didn’t watch it) live on TV.
And Brentford have been drawn… away to Norwich City.
Norwich City, who are celebrating their first year outside the top two divisions with random results and managerial sackings, are lining up for the first time in the Painted Vans Trophy and will no doubt be terrified playing a club with such pedigree as making the second round twice in the last four years.
In conclusion Cup Draws for Brentford are always an anticlimax.
